About Kathleen
Kathleen Caylor has the experience and education needed to photograph people with sensitivity, patience, spontaneity, and creativity. She'll take the time to find the most flattering pose or expression, compose the image thoughtfully, and artwork the flaws away. Her enjoyment of her craft is evident both in her finished product, as well as in her personality while photographing.
Kathleen took a serious interest in photography as far back as high school, where she began doing darkroom work and yearbook photography. While attending St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, she photographed for the yearbook as well as the public relations department. Before graduation, she had already been hired to photograph weddings. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in art and graphic communications and then spent eight years working at a photo studio in De Pere, polishing her skills and photographing virtually everything. Caylor Photography opened in Pulaski, Wisconsin in 1998, and Kathleen has been running her own business ever since.
Kathleen began entering prints in professional competitions in 1992. She now has an impressive collection of ribbons, plaques, and trophies from the Fox Valley Professional Photographers Association, the Wisconsin Professional Photographers Association, and the Professional Photographers of America. She earned her Master of Photography degree from the PPA in the summer of 2000. She has been named Fox Valley Photographer of the Year eight times. She has been honored twice with the title Photographer of the Year - Platinum Level from the Professional Photographers of America.
Although Kathleen photographs a wide variety of subjects, her preference is for professional head shots, families, high school seniors, and children. Pets are also welcome at Kathleen's studio, as long as they are small enough to fit in your car. Larger animals, like a horse, can be photographed where they are boarded.
Caylor Photography is located east of Pulaski, not far from the NEW Zoo, just north of Green Bay, WI. The photo studio was built by her husband, Eric Caylor, directly behind their home. The home/business is located on 3 acres of land with a creek in the backyard, allowing for outdoor photography with almost any session.
Kathleen offers clients a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, always striving to provide the best customer service that she can.
